We have a workshop for AASECT members and prospective members on the first Monday of every other month.  If you are interested in attending, please let me know and I will send you the schedule of events.

There are few things I enjoy more than mentoring the next generation of sex therapists.  If you are interested in supervision, I am an AASECT Certified Supervisor of Sex Therapy.  I am also a Clinical Fellow of the AAMFT which allows me to supervise MFT candidates and LPC candidates as well.  I conduct individual and group supervision by Skype which allows me to supervise future sex therapists wherever you may be.

I have completed the 30 hour AAMFT training for supervisors, as well as the 25 hour AASECT Summer Institute on sex therapy supervision.

The Sexuality : Diversity Matters Scholarship program provides pro-bono supervision for those pursuing AASECT certification as a sex therapist.  The award is for sex therapy supervision and was founded by Dr. Neil Cannon, Dr. Joe Kort, Dan Maloney and Eliza Boquin.  The purpose of the scholarship is to support People of Color and the communities they serve.

The winner of the scholarship receives 25 hours of individual supervision from Dr. Joe Kort and one other AASECT Certified Supervisor, who we carefully select to match up with your interests.  The winner also receives 25 hours of group supervision from me.   This is a “full ride” scholarship that meets AASECT’s requirements for the supervision portion of sex therapy certification requirements.

Please apply by no later than September 1st of each year for the following year.  To apply, please contact Dan Maloney, LCSW & AASECT Certified Sex Therapist.  dan@danmaloneylcsw.com.
