It is startling but true that suicide is the seventh leading cause of death in Colorado.
In light of Robin William’s apparent suicide yesterday, the timing of Governor Hickenlooper’s new crisis support line could not be more timely. For the first time in our history, Colorado has a crisis line where people in emotional turmoil can call and talk to a trained caregiver at no charge.
Callers to the Colorado Crisis and Support Line will be able to speak with mental health professionals 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at 844-493-TALK (8255).
If you are in pain, please remember there is always hope. It does get better!
